Alora Weddings is an online marketplace that connects engaged couples with wedding venues and vendors across Canada. We provide tools to search, discover, save, and inquire about venues and wedding professionals. We are not a party to any agreement between couples and vendors.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Alora Weddings. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. User Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must not share your account credentials with others
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
4. Venue & Vendor Listings
If you list a venue or professional service on Alora Weddings, you agree that:
- All information in your listing is accurate, complete, and not misleading
- You own or have the right to use all photos and content you upload
- You will respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Pricing information is kept reasonably up to date
- You will not list venues or services that are fraudulent or do not exist
Alora Weddings reviews listings before they go live and reserves the right to reject or remove any listing that does not meet our quality standards.
5. Bookings & Payments
Alora Weddings facilitates connections between couples and vendors. Any booking, contract, or payment agreement is solely between the couple and the venue/vendor. We are not responsible for the performance of either party. Payments processed through our platform are handled by Stripe in accordance with their terms of service.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute our content without permission
- Attempt to circumvent our platform by transacting off-platform to avoid fees
- Upload content that infringes on any third party's intellectual property
7. Reviews & Content
By submitting a review or any content on Alora Weddings, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content on our platform. Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experiences. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our guidelines.
8. Intellectual Property
The Alora Weddings name, logo, platform design, and all original content are owned by Alora Weddings and protected by copyright. You may not use our branding or content without written permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Alora Weddings is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings, the quality of vendors, or uninterrupted availability of our platform. Use of Alora Weddings is at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alora Weddings shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including disputes between couples and vendors, cancellations, or booking failures.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our platform. Continued use of Alora Weddings after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
